Language learning means something different to everyone, but one thing is clear: it’s important that the learning method adapts to each person’s individual life situation, goals, and pace. Candy and Brownie attend IH Budapest’s two-person, personalized German lessons to prepare for moving abroad. They were happy to share their experience with us – here is their story:

Why are you taking your 1:1 language course?
"We plan to study German from the scratch as a family."
Why did you choose IH Budapest?
"My friend recommended IH to me. The teachers are good, can arrange classes as per one's timetable, and it is close to where I live. "
Why did you choose a 1:1 course, and what is your personal goal?
"The courses can be arranged as per one's timetable and teachers can arrange the teaching contents as per one's own paces. So it is more efficient. My personal goal is to study German constantly and to solve the problems I meet during self-study too."(Brownie)
What is your opinion about the course?
"It is very helpful. You can improve skills in grammar, listening, and speaking step by step steadily. Moreover, the teacher is very patient and can tailor the study content as well as the homework as per your weakness. Nowadays, it is not difficult to have free language lessons from internet, but I still think a regular tutor is necessary, because usually I can not understand some grammar points by selfstudy, with the help of teacher, it can be solved easily and efficiently."
Why would you recommend IH Budapest to others, and to whom?
"I would like to recommend IH Budapest to those who plan to study a foreign language, especially those who plan to study as a family or a private group."
