Is this course for you?
The course is for people who already communicate at B2 level and want to prepare specifically for the Cambridge B2 First exam. It does not teach the language from scratch: it practises the exam tasks and exam technique.
1 — You already speak at B2 level and have a specific exam goal.
2 — You can commit to 30–45 minutes of practice at home per session.
3 — If you are not sure about your level, the placement test will show you in a few minutes whether the B2 First or the C1 Advanced course is right for you.
The course starts with a minimum of 5–6 participants, and places are limited. If your level is not yet B2, you can catch up with our 30-hour general courses .

Exam structure
Multi-level result — paper-based or computer-based, you choose the format
All four papers take place on one day. The paper-based and digital formats are identical in content and recognition, and the Speaking test is always face to face with an examiner. With an outstanding performance the certificate can also show a C1-level result, and with a weaker performance the B1 level achieved remains an official, usable result.
Reading & Use of English — 1 hour 15 minutes · 7 parts, 52 questions
Vocabulary, grammar and reading comprehension in one paper: multiple-choice cloze, open cloze, word formation, key word transformation, gapped text and multiple matching. This gets the most time on the course: 8 lessons.
Writing — 1 hour 20 minutes · 2 parts
The first task is always an essay of 140–190 words; in the second you choose from an email or letter, an article, a review and a report. After both mock exams you get individual marking and a model answer.
Short extracts, sentence completion, multiple matching and multiple choice. In class we practise in timed rounds and pay special attention to typical distractors.
Speaking — 14 minutes in pairs, 20 minutes in groups of three · 4 parts
Interview, long turn, collaborative task and discussion — always face to face with an examiner. During the course we run through it three times as a full Speaking test, with peer feedback.
A Cambridge English certificate does not expire, and it is one of the most widely recognised proofs of language ability in the world. You take the exam once, and the result can still be used decades later.

B2 First or C1 Advanced?
Both courses are 40 hours, both have two mock exams, and both prepare you for the 29 January exam day. The difference is the entry level and the difficulty of the exam. If you are unsure, the placement test decides in a few minutes.
Upper-intermediate
B2 First (FCE)
The most widely recognised
University admission, job hunting
This is your course if you already communicate at B2 level. Reading & Use of English: 7 parts, 52 questions; a shorter exam day.
More than four decades of language teaching experience
Official Cambridge English Exam Centre since July 2026

Prepare where you take the exam
Both the lessons and the exam take place at Lajos u. 11–15, so on exam day you arrive in a room you already know. As an official exam centre, we also help with registration and organising your exam day.
Who teaches the course?
Our course teachers have completed CELTA and DELTA training, have several years of experience in exam preparation, and are members of the Cambridge Teachers' Club.
Small group, lots of feedback
We start with a minimum of 5–6 people, so after both mock exams every participant gets a score profile for each paper and personal improvement goals.
We have collected the most frequently asked questions here. If you can't find the answer, feel free to get in touch.
